General Info

Studio Theater
Located just off the Randolph Street lobby, the Studio Theater is an incubator space that gives small theater companies the opportunity to share their work with downtown audiences. The Department of Cultural Affairs provides the space rent-free to encourage the growth of new creative talent. Ticket prices are kept low, and admission is free for select events. Tickets and/or reservations are handled by each individual company's box office.

Claudia Cassidy Theater
Located on the 2nd floor of the Randolph Street entrance, the Claudia Cassidy Theater is a 294-seat venue that provides space for staged readings, improv shows, workshops and panel discussions, and short-run productions. Examples of recent programs include AFTRA/SAG Radio Players, The Playwrights Collective, Chicago Improv Festival, Playing French, and multi-cultural events in cooperation with local consulates.

Storefront Theater
Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph, is dedicated to giving small to mid-sized theater companies the opportunity to perform in a state of the art venue located in the heart of the downtown theater district. Performances strive to stay at an accessible price level, increase public awareness of the importance of the performing arts and foster cultural awareness. Storefront Theater believes in the fundamentals of education, innovative thinking and community support.
