General Info

So many varieties and even varied climates are represented in this massive greenhouse. In one corner you will recognize the desert theme. On another trail you can sit near a stream and breathe in the deep scent of the forest. There is even an area dedicated to seasonal displays and garden shows. Any time of the year, the flowers shown here are the most colorful collection in the city.

The Winter Flower and Train Show starts is held in January. Don’t miss the huge and incredibly crafted model train display. And plan on coming back for the Spring Flower Show. Giving your spirit a natural sense of renewal - A visit to the Lincoln Park Conservatory will take the winter blues away from those looking for an afternoon in warmer surroundings. If you are a botanist, plan on staying awhile and reading all the detailed information on the hundreds of plant species all under-one roof.
