This modern restaurant is simply sizzling with style and provides the perfect setting for upscale dining, rooftop lounging, private parties and special events. III Forks is a contemporary evolution of the classic steakhouse featuring USDA Prime Beef, ocean-fresh seafood and locally sourced Midwest fare. The menu ranges from raw bar items such as East and West coast oysters to Alaskan snow crab. Coconut red curry mussels and a crab cake with smoked jalapeno sour cream serve as exotic beginnings. A variety of inventive fish dishes await you as entrees. Pork belly, Berkshire pork chop and a bone-in ribeye are offerings from the prairie. The space itself is built for destination place guests. The restaurant opens into a wood laden raw bar then eases into a main dining space that gives way to a bar that glows with the warmth of soft Edison lighting.

Alice and Friends Vegetarian Restaurant

The menu consists mainly of dishes inspired by Korean, Chinese and Japanese favorites, and the meat substitutes here are unsurpassed with genuine meaty textures and juicy flavor.
The restaurant's name pays tribute to Lewis Caroll, and the purple walls and bizarre collision of decorations, from mismatched tables and chairs to birdcages, caters to the Wonderland experience. The restaurant is run by devotees of the Quan Yin Meditation style, so spiritual quotes, pamphlets and an ongoing video of Supreme Master Ching Hai are also thrown into the mix.

Blue Water Grill

In the summer of 2005, Blue Water Grill made a splash as the Chicago outpost of one of New York’s most high-profile seafood destinations. It’s sleek style - dramatic lighting, sculpted steel, mosaic accents - sets the scene for one of Chicago Magazine’s recently named "Ten Hip Places."

Cape Cod Room

The first impression is stunning: red-checked table cloths, exposed mahogany wood beams, carved benches, ship models and the cozy warm atmosphere of an oceanside New England inn. You've just stepped through the door of the Cape Cod Room, found at the lower level of the Drake Hotel.

Catch 35

This is the place for those who Love Seafood. As one patron put it, "I eat at Catch 35 frequently and have never been disappointed. They always have a wide variety of fresh seafood expertly prepared".  The seafood menu is so extensive – offering so many delightful dishes many with an Asian flair – you'll enjoy it simply for its reading pleasure.

Da Lobsta

This is one of the locals favorite vegetarian and vegan spot's and  is nothing short of a monument, with healthy dishes (think scrambled tofu and Tuscan seitan sandwiches), colorful walls and eccentric staff.

Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House

We know that you are supposed to talk about the entrees in a restaurant review before you talk about dessert.  But at Hugo’s, that Muddy Bottom Pie is a "knock your socks" ending to an evening of exquisite dinning. Go ahead and hurt yourself.

Karyn's Fresh Corner

Karyn's Fresh Corner says: Maximum freshness, with tons of variety! A must while in Chicago! Most people eat food that has been cooked and then warmed up. This process depletes the enzyme activity in food and prevents the optimum digestion and absorption of nutrients. Come try our delicious raw food!
