Africa International House USA

AIH has consistently worked to bridge the divides between the peoples of the African Diaspora in Chicago and as a result have contributed to the cultural and socio-economic survival of African immigrants in Chicago with direct intentions to promote and preserve African based cultures and educate the public about Africa and its cultural contributions to humanity. Traditional Africans consider culture the foundation of a people and provides their social bearings... It is very important for the African immigrants and African Americans with shared cultures to promote and preserve such commonalities as well as to build upon individual contributions.
