676 Restaurant and Bar

This one of the Magnificent Mile’s hippest hangouts. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame Michigan Avenue four stories below, and the night sky view from the dining room is truly amazing thanks to the moonscape mural on the ceiling. Executive Chef Daven Wardynski creates an excellent selection of comfort food with attitude.


Acadia

The sophisticated, elegant space of Acadia provides a perfect house for the simultaneously contemporary and classic cuisine from Chef McCaskey. Divided into a lounge space, dining room and private dining room, Acadia is comfortable and inviting, with natural elements throughout. Soaring ceilings and colors of warm neutrals, cool grays, chocolate and sage are peppered throughout the minimal space.


Aigre Doux Restaurant and Bakery

Aigre-doux is the French term for the combined flavors of sour (aigre) and sweet (doux).
The owners bring a passion for food and a stellar Chicago, New York and Los Angeles culinary background to the new venue. Aigre Doux is a contemporary, comfortably calm upscale restaurant, yet the owners commitment to quality is anything but calm.

Alinea

Chef Grant Achatz's Alinea is a place no serious foodie should miss. Like Homaro Cantu at Moto, Achatz wants to revolutionize the way we eat, and he does this by presenting familiar foods in new contexts and unexpected forms. While the menu changes constantly, examples of Achatz's wizardry include French onion soup that arrives encapsulated inside a shell of pulverized onions (you have to break the shell to get to the steamy soup inside) is just the beginning to  your journey to food heaven...


Allium

Allium’s seasonal menu focuses on sustainable ingredients. Vegetables drive the ever-evolving menu, sourced both from local farmers and the Hotel’s own rooftop garden. Meats, one of the Midwest’s greatest culinary staples, are well represented, from dry aged filet chop to the menu’s From the Meat Locker section, featuring a selection of premium steaks and chops from Midwestern ranchers.


Ann Sather Restaurant

Ann Sather's Restaurant is THE place for home-cookin'.  The menu offers a variety of hearty Scandinavian meals (the Swedish meatballs are to die for) as well as the All-American Burger and Fries.


Aria

Bandera

This is the go-to spot for comfort food on Michigan Avenue. Chickens turn slowly on a spit just inside the entrance, behind a copper-accented counter were white-clad chefs buzz around the open kitchen, preparing plates of roast chicken, ribs and barbecued salmon.

Bennigan's Grill & Tavern

Since 1976, this casual family-dining restaurant has been serving a variety of American favorites in a relaxed Irish-pub-style atmosphere.

Billy Goat Tavern

To call Billy Goat Tavern a local legend is a great understatement. One of Mike Royko's (nationally syndicated columnist and Pulitzer Prize winning author of "Boss") favorite lunchtime hangouts, Billy Goat was immortalized by John Belushi's Saturday Night Live routine ("cheezeborger, no fries-chips"). Incidentally, John Belushi's parents were friends of Mike Royko and Belushi's 1981 movie "Continental Divide" was loosely based on Royko.
