Pegasus Restaurant & Taverna

You’ll have no doubt you have arrived at Pegasus. The yellow neon wings of a Pegasus on the exterior of the restaurant are hard to miss. It’s a charming restaurant with really good service. No pretentious maitre de, no snobby wait staff. Everyone here is glad to see you and they make every effort to serve you well. All of the latest studies have concluded that a Mediterranean diet is a heart healthy diet, so enjoy. Menu choices include hot and cold appetizers as well as several salads that include “Alexander” garlic dressing topped with Feta and anchovy. Soups include the delicious Lemon Soup. There also are many choices of fresh seafood, Greek pastas and meats from the broiler.

 

A very nice atmosphere including skylights, lots of windows and a mural of a seascape on the wall make this a cozy place. The rooftop café has a limited menu, but provides a great view of Chicago’s beautiful skyline and the music of a small Greek band.
