General Info
Spicy Frog Legs, Legendary Catfish Tenders, and Cajun Crawfish Quesadilla are the featured performers on the appetizer list, from Buddy's home state of Louisiana! The great Cajun menu features the Big Bayou Blue Plate Special includes Etouffe, Jambalaya, Red Beans, and Gumbo with Buttermilk Cornbread all for $14.95. Legendary Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya for $12.95 gives you quite a fill of spicy Andouille sausage and tender chicken. Just as legendary is the Etouffee, a secret recipe of crawfish tails and vegetables immersed in red roux. The food is as memorable as the music. For a $10.00-$15.00 cover, you can take in the sounds of performers like James Armstrong, Carey Bell, Little Ed and the Blues Imperials and Larry McCray. The raw, bluesy blast that fills this room every night of the week will make you wish you'd known about this place a long time ago.
The hottest blues entertainment South of the Chicago River and all the way to the Bayou, Legends is the place to be for live music any night of the week. The original “Blues Brothers” started with Buddy and legendary harmonica player Junior Wells, who joined forces in the late 1960s. If you're lucky enough to catch the master of blues playing at his own venue, it is likely you'll agree with Clapton. And because Buddy runs the place, only the best get to howl, stomp, scream and deliver legendary performances.
