Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

If you’re into original tasting pizza, you’ll find it at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in River North. The restaurant’s menu of pizza and pastas rivals the best in a city world famous for the deep-dish delight. And don’t forget to try the pie made with the well-known buttercrust dough; it’s not for calorie counters, just those with forgiving waistlines. The place is decorated with sports memorabilia such as local Chicago jerseys, baseballs, and sports pictures from a collection of Lou’s favorite players.

General Info

Deep-dish choices range from a 6-inch cheese and pepperoni or sausage for $5.10 to a large 14-inch for $16.75. The "Lou" version includes spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes with Mozzarella, Romano, and cheddar cheeses. The 14-inch wonder is $19.65.

Linguini, mostaccioli, lasagna and spaghetti are all under $8.00, making many choices with great proportions very affordable. The kid’s menu features a quarter pound cheeseburger with fries and a drink for $3.75. And for $3.25, the home-made peach cobbler is no less than highway robbery.

A deep-dish destination. Grandpa Rudy Malnati is to thank for creating such a great blend of ingredients. The pies come out of the oven with a rich tomato sauce covered with a one-of-a-kind crust. The taste will never let you down.
