Blommer Chocolate Company

This is a fully integrated chocolate and cocoa manufacturer serving customers around the world. The company was founded in 1939 in Chicago, Illinois by Henry Blommer, Sr., along with his brothers Al and Bernard. Today, the business is still family run and has grown to become one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in North America. Blommer has four generations of chocolate makers behind the family name.

Cunis Candies

Cunis Candies was established in Chicago in 1933 by Uncle George Askounis, making the finest candies and ice cream. Only the purest ingredients were used and everything was freshly made. Today, more than 70 years later, they are still making chocolates in their shop in South Holland using there own traditional family recipes. The tour guide will present a short video on how cacao (ca-cow) is grown and processed into what we know and love as "chocolate." Following the video, guests will see the giant sculpted chocolate on display before entering the walkway to view production and packaging of our fine chocolates.
