General Info

Before she was the chef owner of Sugar Fixé, Cindy Summers was an Oak Park resident and pastry enthusiast who traveled abroad to find high quality, made-from-scratch pastries. Her passion for hand-crafted pastries led her to leave her successful corporate career and enroll in the French Pastry School in Chicago. 

Now she's achieving her dream of bringing heavenly European-style desserts to her fellow Oak Park residents, using only the very best ingredients and classic techniques she learned while studying under renowned chefs such as Jacquy Pfeiffer, Della Gossett, Pastry World Champion Dimitri Fayard and Master Baker Jonathan Dendauw.
