Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain, one of the largest in the world, is located in front of the café. Fountain Café is in Grant Park. Depending on weather times are subject to change when large events take place in or around Grant Park.

The 3rd Coast Cafe & Wine Bar is nestled in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast at the corner of Dearborn and Goethe. Open 7am to Midnight daily, this vintage location has been a site for famous restaurants since the 1920’s.

The oldest cafe in the gold coast will surprise you with its culinary delights. Locals love the options of breakfast all day, incredible salads, sandwiches, a changing dinner menu including fresh seafood, pasta, and steaks, the best brunch in Chicago, not to mention the wall of wine. From early morning fresh baked scones to late night dinner, wine and music, the “Coast” is an off the beaten track treasure full of ambiance, good old fashioned food and cocktails.

In our coffee bars you can expect to find this remarkable coffee in all of its forms: whole bean, various approaches to brewed, and carefully prepared as espresso. Our goal is that each of these is presented in an environment steeped in education and humility. We want great coffee to be revered, yet democratic, approachable and accessible.
