Our Picks

Rickshaw Republic

Rickshaw Republic is in a cozy yet modern space on Lincoln Ave. Their menu features typical dishes from the various Indonesian islands. The menu was created by the Setiawan family, native Indonesians who have thankfully decided to bestow their rich culinary culture on us lucky Chicagoans!
Rickshaw is BYOB, and I think beer pairs just fine with this Indonesian style street food.

Loving Hut

Loving Hut was created with a vision that all beings could live in peace, love and harmony with each other and
the planet. Loving Hut chain restaurants are newly opening around the world. It is an invitation to gourmet cuisine made
with wholesome vegan ingredients, offering an accessible starting point for those making the noble transition to a plant-based diet.

Mana Food Bar

The menu features a variety of global influences, including Mediterranean, Asian and Middle Eastern, with a focus on creative veggie preparations that capitalize on flavor and spice and make limited use of the usual meat alternatives such as seitan and tofu. Everything on the menu comes in both large and small plate formats so you can graze or go for a traditional meal (small plates $5.00 - $9.00; large plates $9.00 - $17.00).
Don't miss the Mana sliders, tasty little brown rice and mushroom burgers with spicy mayo that go for $3.00 a pop.
